Been looking for a suitable class in the area for my own fitness. Having been a coach myself, ones own fitness takes a... back seat. I have looked at many Gym classes over the years and always found them to be more about the speed rather than the technique and often questionnable methods and styles. So was glad to have stumbled on James Classes. from day one he was guiding the class on technique and form. Clearly years of experience rather than weekend courses which plague modern gyms these days. Would recommend James classes. May even try out some of his others when I find the timeread more

James listens and takes on board any niggles you have. He will work hard to help you correct your technique or give you... ideas to help strengthen your weak spots at home. I attended a Balance Class that he was asked to cover (he was given literally 5 minutes to plan it) with lower back pain and by the end it had eased massively. Everyone needs a James in their fitness journey so that you can improve your fitness without causing yourself injury. Thanks for all your help James.read more

I fully recommend trying one of James' self defence courses. They are well structured, tailored to the group of people... that attend, very informative and hugely enjoyable. People of any age, fitness or ability can attend and be completely at ease. I persuaded my husband to come with me and although he was reluctant in the beginning he enjoyed it so much we signed up for another course as soon as the first one ended! I will certainly be taking my daughters to his classes now that he runs junior courses so that they can also learn sensible strategies to avoid potentially dangerous situations while having a LOT of fun at the same time.read more
