Where am I based?
I am local to Reading, and train people all across the town from Tilehurst to Caversham, to Lower Earley, and even Burghfield.
That said, my main base of operation is The Atrium Health Club (yes, the one that survived the arsonist attack in January). I always loved their community first approach, and that they genuinely care for both staff and members. That and the fact that it is a well-equipped, spacious facility, makes it the kind of professional facility that I want to be associated with, and it allows me do the kind of varied high-quality training that people enjoy.

What Our Clients Say About Personal Training in Reading
Common Questions, Answered
Do you offer a Consultation?
Absolutely! I offer a free consultation to help answer any of your questions, and to let you get to know me a bit first, without any pressure to sign up. This can be arranged as a meet up, or zoom / phone call.
Can I try a Session before I subscribe?
Yes, I offer a £20/£40 trial session, and I encourage anyone considering signing up to try it. It helps to relieve any doubts, and make sure that we are compatible, before committing.
What should I expect during my first Personal Training session?
Within your first session, typically your trial session, I will take you through a range of fundamental movements to asses how well you can currently move and whether your body is making any compensations due to injury or muscular imbalances etc. This will tell me how mobile each part of your body is and what we would need to work on in order to give you the most relief / benefit. From this point I will be better able to plan our future sessions and make them more specific to your needs.
Why do you offer sessions as a monthly subscription?
It is traditional for PT's to offer blocks of ten, but this has always been poor business management, and doesn't encourage any consistency. And consistency is key for results. Instead, I have a selection of subscriptions that my clients sign up to where they have their weekly scheduled slots booked in consistently; this helps both of us to make time for it and manage our schedules better. Of course, life happens, and sometimes sessions have to be moved around, but this helps to keep my clients accountable and training every week (and if they miss a session, we've already booked one in to catch up).
What is your cancellation policy for training sessions?
I require 24 hours notice for cancellations to maintain a smooth schedule for all clients. Outside of the 24 hours I am happy to reschedule.
