My Story and Mission:

I'm James, and I bring a decade of expertise in personal training to individuals seeking a tailored exercise experience in Reading. As a certified professional with a specialisation in martial arts, my approach centres on enhancing mobility and stability—key factors in both injury prevention and rehabilitation. I believe in building a strong foundation that allows clients to progress safely and effectively towards their fitness goals, whether they aim to increase strength or recover from injuries.
My mission is to Empower each client through a supportive partnership, providing proven strategies that yield reliable results and foster a healthier, more active lifestyle.

What Fitness training do you offer in Reading?
I provide online, mobile, and gym-based one to one training, as well as private small group sessions in and around the Reading area. Whether that be for basic health or Strength & Conditioning for performance. I also run exercise classes in Tilehurst, Caversham, and Burghfield.
What Martial Arts training do you offer?
I currently train people in Shotokan Karate, Practical Self Defence, and Boxing in my private one to one and small group sessions, and run classes for those aged 4 and above. Currently based at Kendrick School, my classes are; Diddy Dragons (4-6), Karate (6+), and Advanced Karate, which we run multiple times a week.
What Gym are you based at?
I am based at The Atrium Health Club (yes, the one that survived the arsonist attack in January). I always loved their community first approach, and that they genuinely care for both staff and members. That and the fact that it is a well-equipped, spacious facility, makes it the kind of professional environment that I want to be associated with, and it allows me do the kind of varied high-quality training that people enjoy.
Can I train Outdoors or at Home?
Absolutely! Training has to be convenient to be consistent, so I offer my mobile and online services to help those who need that. It doesn't matter if you're at home with the baby, or need a quick boost before work, we can find a way to make it work!
